Lauren Flandrich is a certified Physician Assistant with over 13 years of experience in orthopedic and pain management medicine. She earned her M.S. from Wagner University and completed an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program at St. John University, first certifying in July 2013 and re-certifying in 2018.
At Hudson Medical, Lauren handles the full scope of patient care — evaluations, treatment planning, medication prescribing, and diagnostic interpretation — for patients with orthopedic and pain conditions. She also serves as Director of Telehealth, building out Hudson Medical's virtual care program so patients can access care remotely.
Outside the clinic, Lauren is an avid reader who can typically finish a book in two days. As a kid, she dreamed of becoming a librarian — or a Rockette.

Director of Hudson Medical's telehealth program, delivering virtual care for patients who can't always make it in.
Listening – really listening. Patients with chronic pain have often been through a lot before they get to us. They’ve seen multiple providers, tried multiple treatments, and sometimes feel like nobody has taken their full picture seriously. I want every patient to leave an appointment feeling genuinely heard and with a clear understanding of what we’re doing next and why.
A lot of patients assume telehealth is only for minor issues. In pain management, virtual appointments are genuinely effective for consultations, follow-ups, medication reviews, and care coordination — you don’t always need to come in to get the information and guidance you need. For patients in the outer boroughs or with mobility limitations, it makes a real difference.
Growing up, my dream jobs were librarian and Rockette — so medicine was a bit of a detour. That said, the love of reading stuck. I can usually finish a book in two days, which my patients find either impressive or alarming depending on who you ask.
