Breaking News: Hudson Spine Announces Interventional Spine Fellowship

Hudson Spine is very pleased to announce the establishment of a new Interventional Spine Fellowship, a non-ACMGE accredited program (2016-2017) located in TriBeCa, New York City. We are proud to provide true multi-disciplinary training and are one of the only private practice fellowships in New York City.

Our facility is staffed with a dedicated group of physicians in various specialties all concerning pain management. The fellow will work alongside specialists in sports medicine, orthopedics (both sports and spine), neurology/headache, podiatry, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and physical therapy.

A particular strength of this fellowship is exposure to a highly interventional practice where the fellow will receive hands-on training in a wide variety of cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacral interventional techniques as well as peripheral joint injections using fluoroscopy and ultrasound guidance.

These include epidurals, facet interventions, intradiscal procedures, kyphoplasty, radiofrequency ablation, cryoablation, sympathetic blocks, neuromodulation (SCS), acupuncture and restorative therapy.

We have a comprehensive 8,000 square foot modern facility with three procedural suites and five full time pain management physicians on staff. As part of our expansion, we are opening our new Hudson Medical Wellness Center in February 2016.

This will be a large facility dedicated to alternative treatments of pain including comprehensive physical therapy and rehabilitation, nutrition, personal training, acupuncture, regenerative and anti-aging medicine.

Upon completion of the fellowship, the trainee will have developed outstanding clinical skills in evaluation and management of a broad variety of spinal disorders as well as other musculoskeletal conditions. In addition, fellows will be exposed to the inner workings of a high volume private practice.

Physicians who have successfully completed a clinical American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) residency in Anesthesiology, Neurology, or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation are eligible to apply. Start dates are flexible.
