Hudson Medical is now accepting applications for its Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship, a non-ACMGE accredited program located in TriBeCa, New York City, NY, for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Fellowship Program Overview

We are proud to provide true multidisciplinary training and are one of the only private practice fellowships in New York City. Our facility is staffed with a dedicated group of physicians in various specialties all concerning pain management and access to all cutting edge technologies in the field.

The fellow will work alongside four full time pain management physicians on staff in addition to specialists in sports medicine, orthopedics (both sports and spine), neurology/headache, and physical therapy. Our educational program includes biweekly didactics as well with presentations from our attendings from all disciplines.

Upon completion of the fellowship, the trainee will have developed outstanding clinical skills in the evaluation and management of a broad variety of pain and spinal disorders as well as other musculoskeletal conditions. In addition, fellows will be exposed to the inner workings of a high volume private practice.

What you will learn:

Pain medicine fellows will have exposure to a high volume interventional practice with:
– Hands-on training in wide variety of Interventional Pain Management Procedures: cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacral interventional techniques as well as peripheral joint injections using fluoroscopy and ultrasound guidance.

– Training with experienced Pain Specialists in epidurals, facet interventions, intradiscal procedures, kyphoplasty, radiofrequency ablation, sympathetic blocks, neuromodulation (SCS/DRG), and regenerative therapy.

– Training with cutting edge procedures, such as PainTeq, Veriflex, MILD, and Intracept, in a state-of-the-art surgical center.

Additional Learning Opportunities

In addition to learning about Interventional Pain Management Procedures, you will also have:
– Opportunities to work with Regenerative Medicine (stem cells, Exosome clinical trials, and PRP injections).
– Opportunities to work with outside referring organizations, such as Stella Center.
– Research opportunities with recent clinical trials.
– Learning skills necessary to thrive in a high volume private practice pain management model, including Medical Claims & Billing, and practice management.

Our Locations

We have two comprehensive modern facilities each with multiple procedural suites; We are centered in TriBeCa, and also have a new facility in the West Village which opened in 2020.

Our wellness centers at these locations are dedicated to alternative treatments of pain including comprehensive physical therapy and rehabilitation, nutrition, personal training, acupuncture, chiropractics, regenerative and anti-aging medicine.

How to apply

Physicians who have successfully completed a clinical American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) residency in Anesthesiology, Neurology, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation are eligible to apply.
